Seeyourfuture Education and Career Fair 10

Monday, November 5 - from 9:45 a.m. to 3:00 pm at the Saskatoon Inn - the goal of this fair is to allows students access to information abut future education and career choices. Agricultural Safety and Rural Health Scholarship

Deadline January 25, 2008 - This is an essay competition for students enrolled in grade 12 in the 2007-2008 school year who are planning on studying at a Saskatchewan post-secondary school in the fall of 2008 (or studying outside of Saskatchewan if the course enrolled in is not offered in Saskatchewan). Students must also be from a farming background, have parents or guardians who own/rentland and pay taxes to a rural municipality and live in a rural area.

The essay topic are: "The Importance of Safety and Health on the Farm" or "Safety and Health Hazards on Our Farm."

The prize for the contenst is $1000.00.

Grade 12 students, their parents and high school counsellors, teachers and administrators are invited to Experience US! October 11 & 12, 2007. Because this event is held at the beginning of the University fall term, campus life is in full swing. Grade 12 students observe a typical day at the U of S, with classes in progress and current students strolling about the campus

Students and parents find out more information about programs and become familiar with the campus, while high school counsellors and administrators are offered networking opportunities and informational sessions.

From tour guides to session leaders, University students, faculty and staff are involved in every aspect of this event.

TD Canada Trust Scholarships for Community Leadership are intended to serve the needs of all Canadian families and communities. Scholarships are open to students across Canada who -
Are in their final year of high school, or CEGEP (in Quebec)
Have demonstrated outstanding community leadership
Present a minimum average of 75%
Doing good for others during difficult times in one's own life requires particularly outstanding commitment. This is why, as part of the selection process, the personal circumstances and/or challenges of each applicant will be considered.
How you apply yourself is up to you. What matters most is that you care about the community that you live in and are willing to make it a better place for everyone.

Blyth Cambridge Scholarship Program

The Scholarship Program provides full funding and the opportunity for graduating Canadian high school students to complete their first degree at Cambridge University. Students will attend Pembroke College, one of Cambridge’s oldest and most distinguished colleges.
